Special Sessions
Autonomous Robots for Industry x.0: Human-Centric, Intelligent, and Sustainable Industrial Systems
AIM & SCOPE
This special issue focuses on the role of autonomous robotic systems in shaping next-generation industrial environments within the Industry x.0 paradigm. Unlike previous industrial revolutions that prioritized automation and productivity, Industry 5.0 emphasizes human-centricity, sustainability, resilience, and intelligent collaboration between humans and machines.
Advances in autonomous robotics—combining artificial intelligence, perception, learning, adaptive control, and decision-making—are transforming industrial sectors such as manufacturing, logistics, inspection, and maintenance. This special issue aims to bring together researchers and practitioners to present theoretical advances, innovative methodologies, and real-world industrial applications of autonomous robots aligned with Industry x.0 principles.
