Title
Abstract
The rapid advancement of Artificial Intelligence (AI) technologies is profoundly transforming higher education, necessitating a re-evaluation of traditional teaching and learning paradigms. This keynote explores how AI can be harnessed to foster inclusive, equitable, and quality education, particularly in online learning environments. Drawing from a systematic review and meta-analysis of existing literature, the discussion will highlight the effectiveness of AI-powered teaching methodologies in enhancing student engagement and learning outcomes. In particular, it will explore how to re-exam teaching approaches and new forms of assessment. Additionally, the impact of AI-driven assessment tools on the accuracy, reliability, and fairness of evaluating student performance will be examined. The integration of AI in higher education presents opportunities for personalized learning, automated assessments, and data-driven decision-making. However, it also poses challenges related to ethical considerations, augmented intelligence, data privacy, and the digital divide. This presentation aims to provide insights into balancing these opportunities and challenges to effectively incorporate AI into higher education ecosystems, ultimately contributing to the achievement of Sustainable Development Goal 4: Quality Education.
