As we transition to the next generation of wireless<\/span>\/mobile<\/span> networks, the <\/span>convergence<\/span> of artificial intelligence (AI<\/span>)<\/span> and machine learning (ML) with wireless and mobile systems presents a transformative opportunity to revolutionize communication technologies and sustainability. In this keynote, we will delve into the pivotal role of Wireless-ML Codesign in shaping the future of intelligent and sustainable next-generation networks. The discussion will focus on three core themes: <\/span>ML<\/span> for <\/span>w<\/span>ireless, <\/span>w<\/span>ireless for <\/span>ML<\/span>,<\/span> and Wireless-ML <\/span>c<\/span>odesign. Through these <\/span>pillars<\/span>, we will explore the powerful synergies between wireless technologies and AI, <\/span>while <\/span>demystifying<\/span> their combined potential to enable intelligent, resilient, high-performance, and environmentally responsible networks. <\/span>Besides, <\/span>we<\/span> will investigate wireless considerations <\/span>required<\/span> to deliver <\/span>an optimal<\/span> <\/span>energy-efficient <\/span>AI experience.<\/span> <\/span>This talk will also highlight the interconnectedness of these <\/span>universes<\/span> and their <\/span>joint<\/span> impact on the future of 6G and beyond, paving the way for a new era of innovation and sustainability in wireless communications.<\/span><\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/span><\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

Biography<\/span><\/h3><\/div><\/div>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

Essaid Sabir<\/span><\/span><\/strong> (Senior Member, IEEE) holds a B.Sc. and M.Sc. in Electrical and Computer Engineering (ECE) from Mohammed V University of Rabat (2004, 2007), as well as a Ph.D. with honors in Networking and Computer Engineering from Avignon University<\/span> <\/span>(2010).<\/span> <\/span>Dr. Sabir began his academic career as a non-tenure-track <\/span>a<\/span>ssistant <\/span>p<\/span>rofessor at Avignon University, where he served from 2009 to 2012. He later <\/span>joined<\/span> Hassan II University of Casablanca<\/span> <\/span>as <\/span>a full professor, a position he held until late 2022. Following this, he joined the Department of Computer Science at the Universit\u00e9 du Qu\u00e9bec \u00e0 Montr\u00e9al, where he served as a professor until January 2024. Currently, he is a full professor in the Department of Science and Technology at T\u00c9LUQ, University of Quebec.<\/span> <\/span>Throughout his career, Dr. Sabir has led <\/span>numerous<\/span> research projects and contributed to several high-profile international collaborations. His research interests encompass 5G\/6G, Internet of Things, ubiquitous networking, Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning, and game theory. His innovative work has been recognized with awards at many prestigious international conferences and venues.<\/span> <\/span>In his efforts to foster collaboration between academia and industry, Dr. Sabir founded the International Conference on Ubiquitous Networking (<\/span>UNet<\/span>) and co-founded the WINCOM conference series. He is also an associate or guest editor for several prominent journals and has played significant executive roles in organizing <\/span>numerous<\/span> events within the academic and research communities.<\/span><\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/span><\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t
